This course provides a comparison of two case studies; the first illustrates how Architects can simultaneously deliver both preservations, keeping the bone structure of a historical housing style – the Bungalow, and innovation, creating contemporary interior spaces for the owner’s unique lifestyle. The second solution, in contrast, is designed to appeal to a market, not a specific owner. This approach of designing for a general market required an Architect to renovate the renovation in order to meet the new owner’s unique requirements.
