This course takes a look at homes that were designed and built by an Architect, three remodels and three new construction. Each new home design was shaped by the site, the budget and a factor that comes with the responsibility of being the builder – CONSTRUCTIBILITY. The remodels had another factor to consider – the existing structure. In all cases, a key lesson was learned; the final result was shaped by in-field decisions as much as the initial drawings.
