The demand to replace or retrofit a building’s energy systems will be significant over the next several years. Currently, Energy Service Companies (ESCo’s) are driving energy system upgrades and the accompanying renovation of large commercial facilities. Architects will need to become knowledgeable about these energy-focused companies. This course will expose Architects to the services offered and business model of ESCo’s. With this knowledge, Architects will be better positioned to secure the design services associated with the ESCO driven retrofit market.
